Can a CareMinders® Home Care franchise be purchased as an investment without my full-time management?
Yes, provided you have a qualified manager and other staff that can operate the business on a full time basis. We encourage and frankly believe that your personal involvement is probably the most important to a CareMinders® Home Care franchise success. Regardless of your decision, we require that every franchisee attend all of our training classes.
What is the territory size of a CareMinders® Home Care franchise?
We determine franchise territories based on a population size of approximately 225,000 people. In large metropolitan areas this generally means that your territory would be made up of several zip codes, while in other areas this may be an entire county.
How much is the initial franchise fee?
The initial fee is currently $28,500* for most locations.
What does the fee cover?
It secures the right to operate a CareMinders® Home Care business in your territory, as well as the right to use the CareMinders® Home Care trademark. You will receive 5 weeks of initial training, access to the business management software, a complete Operations Manual, and other benefits which are all outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Documents.
What additionall costs are associated with opening a CareMinders® Home Care business?
Start-up costs may vary depending on your territory location, state and local regulations and a variety of other factors, some within your control, others that may not be. The estimated capital required for the first three months of operations including the franchisee fee, to open a single franchise ranges from $55,000 to $95,900, excluding salaries to the owners.
What are the royalty fees?
The royalty fee is 5% of gross revenue, but can be reduced to as little as 3% as your revenues increase.
